How it all started...
Calvary Chapel of Norman has humble beginnings. In 1994, we began meeting in my mother-in-law's home with a simple desire: to faithfully teach God's Word.
Within the first few months, our fellowship outgrew that space, and we met in several different homes and a variety of rented locations. Then, in 2006, God provided the opportunity to purchase property at 1401 W. Boyd St. in Norman, where we continue to gather today.
While our location has changed over the years, our philosophy and mission have remained the same. From the beginning, our desire has been to teach God's Word verse by verse and to watch God transform believers into mature followers of Jesus Christ through the faithful teaching of Scripture.

We're not measuring success by how many people sit in our sanctuary, but by how many people leave equipped to live for Christ, share the Gospel, disciple others, and influence their homes, workplaces, community, and the world for the glory of God."
